Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

We answer the most common questions before you book your Mediterranean yacht charter.

It depends on the vessel type and destination. For sailing yachts and offshore boats, a recognised licence such as the RYA Day Skipper or equivalent is usually required. That said, all our vessels are available with a professional skipper on board, so no licence is needed to enjoy the charter.

Bareboat means you skipper the boat yourself using your own qualifications. With a crewed charter, a professional captain handles all the sailing while you and your guests simply enjoy being on the water. We always recommend the crewed option for those without sailing experience or who just want to switch off completely.

Pricing depends on the vessel type, destination, season and whether a skipper is included. A sailing yacht for 6–8 guests in Croatia starts from around €2,500 per week in low season. Luxury motor yachts and gulets start from €5,000. Get in touch and we'll put together a personalised quote.

Absolutely — it's one of our most popular services. As a fully licensed travel agency, we can coordinate flights, transfers, pre- or post-charter hotel nights and any activities on land, all within a single quote and with one point of contact.

The base price typically covers hull insurance, safety equipment and a berth at the home marina. Common extras include fuel, the skipper's fee, provisioning, port fees and cancellation insurance. We'll break it all down clearly in your quote.

Of course. Weddings at sea, birthday celebrations, hen and stag parties, corporate team-building — we have plenty of experience organising all kinds of on-board events. We have vessels available for groups of 4 to 40 guests.

For peak season (July and August) we recommend booking at least 4–6 months ahead, especially for popular destinations like Croatia or the Greek islands. Outside peak season, availability is often much more flexible with just a few weeks' notice.

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the owner and destination. As a general rule, cancellations made more than 60 days in advance recover between 50% and 80% of the total. We always recommend taking out cancellation insurance, which we include as part of our full package.
