A river cruise sails inland waterways aboard small ships carrying between 100 and 180 guests, mooring right in the centre of each city rather than at a port miles away. Unlike an ocean cruise, there are no sea days: you wake up somewhere new every morning, with guided excursions included in the price.

We sail the great rivers of Central Europe — the Danube, the Rhine, the Moselle and the Main — as well as the Rhône and Saône in France, and the Douro Valley in Portugal. We also run routes along the Mekong and the Irrawaddy in South-East Asia, all aboard the Star-Ship fleet of Emerald Cruises and Scenic.

Every luxury river cruise with us includes a river-view suite or stateroom, transfers, chef-led dining, a curated drinks selection, guided excursions and onboard activities. There are no last-minute extras to budget for — the premium all-inclusive package is designed so all you have to think about is enjoying the holiday.

Prices start from €2,200 per person in a Twin Windows stateroom, including transfers, full board and excursions. The final cost depends on the route, the length of the sailing, and the cabin or suite you choose.
