Embark on a beautiful nine day sailing trip for sailors from Gibraltar to Malta in the month of May on board the Rhea, a classic wooden sailing boat with professional crew, the perfect month for the weather conditions and mild climate for this type of trip.
We will sail day and night, with hardly any stops. It is possible to stop in Comino or Gozo in the first days of the trip.
During this trip you can participate in all the sailing tasks together with the crew of the sailing boat, practically being part of it, although it is not compulsory to participate in these tasks.
Apart from sailing, during the trip you can enjoy the calmness of the Mediterranean sailing experience, read, rest, and enjoy the delicious food served by the chef on board.

The RHEA, launched in the spring of 2017, is, like her sister ship CHRONOS, one of the most beautiful sailing yachts in the world with her 1000 m² sail area and 54 m length, the name RHEA comes from Greek mythology and represents the mother of Zeus and companion of his father Cronus.The crew of 10, consisting of captain, chef, engineer, deck crew, stewardesses and waiters, will do their utmost to look after you with the utmost care and attention. She sails under the Dutch flag, meets the latest safety requirements and is equipped with modern navigation and sailing technology, in the style of a classic fixed-sail ketch. In addition to a spacious teak deck, there is a fully equipped bar, a saloon in the wheelhouse and further seating and dining options on the aft deck. 13 comfortable double cabins with air conditioning await you below deck.

Your cabin
The Rhea's Deluxe cabin offers approximately 12-13 square metres of space. It is available in a twin or double bed configuration, depending on your preference. There is a private bathroom with washbasin and WC, as well as a separate 70 x 90 cm shower stall.
This stateroom can be configured as a family cabin by adding an additional bed for a child up to 14 years old. Its design combines functionality and comfort, providing a bright and well-used space for a comfortable stay on board.

Remaining 80% to be paid 30 days before the travel start date
Cancellation policy: 30% of the total price will be charged up to 120 days before the start of the trip, 60% between 120 and 30 days before the start of the trip, or 90% from 30 days before the start of the trip.
It is recommended to take out travel cancellation, baggage loss or damage, personal accident and medical insurance. Some credit cards already include this type of insurance.
The trip will be operated by Sailing Classics CV, a company based in the Netherlands, official and exclusive partner of Navega Mediterráneo in Spain.
Boarding information
Boarding takes place at 18.00 on the day of departure. Please coordinate later arrivals with us. If the ship is not moored in a harbour or basin, we will pick you up with dinghies at the agreed meeting point.
Disembarkation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on the last day of the trip, after breakfast.
