Cruise on a traditional schooner around Rhodes, Greece

Between 10:00 and 13:00, after completing the formalities and refuelling, we’ll set sail for Symi, one of the Dodecanese islands and a real gem. Symi is known as one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. Our first stop will be Nanou Bay, where we’ll enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by lush forests and green hills. In the afternoon, around 16:00, we’ll sail towards Symi harbour. Make sure your camera is ready to capture wonderful images of this small, fairytale-like Greek village. Although dinner will be served on board as an option, you may prefer to dine ashore at one of the many idyllic tavernas lining the marina. If you decide to do so, please let the captain know in advance; the local tavernas in Symi are very tempting, and the captain will understand your choice.

Today we will set sail from the port of Symi after breakfast, between 9.00 am and 10.00 am. Our first stop will be St George’s Bay or one of the many other bays, where we will have lunch, go for a swim and relax in the crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, around 4.00 pm, we’ll sail towards Panormitis, located on the southern side of Symi. Here you can visit the Monastery of St Michael the Archangel in Panormitis. This Greek Orthodox monastery, built in the early 18th century, is still inhabited by monks. It attracts visitors from all over the world, and many Greeks pay their respects to Saint Michael of Panormitis every year. Please note that loud music is not permitted here, to preserve the tranquillity of the monastery. If sea conditions are not ideal, we may have to cancel our visit to Panormitis and head to Pedi instead. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner by the coast and take in the serene surroundings.

Today, after breakfast, between 9.00 am and 10.00 am, we will sail to the beautiful island of Tilos. Tilos is surrounded by high rocky mountains, rugged coastlines, beaches with crystal-clear waters and caves. We’ll spend the day in Akrogiali Bay, where you can relax and take in the stunning scenery. In the late afternoon, around 4.00 pm, we’ll enter the port of Tilos. This will give you the chance to stretch your legs and take a stroll through the charming little village. In the centre of the island is an abandoned village called Mikro Chorio, situated on top of a hill and accessible by taxi or bus. You can also visit Mikro Chorio in the evening for a drink at the bar and to enjoy its unique atmosphere. Later in the evening, enjoy dinner at a local taverna, savouring traditional Greek cuisine. Please note that this evening meal is not included in the initial package price.

Today we’ll sail to the beautiful island of Chalki, north-west of Rhodes. Depending on sea conditions, we’ll set off either before or after breakfast (between 6.00 am and 10.00 am). Chalki is the perfect destination for those seeking peace and privacy, as tourism has not developed much here. The island is famous for its beaches with crystal-clear waters. We will spend the day in Trakhia Bay or one of the other beautiful bays. In the late afternoon, around 4.00 pm, we will sail to Nimporio, the island’s only village and main port. The seafront promenade in Nimporio is lined with charming cafés and tavernas. Be sure to visit the local church, where a service is held between 7.30 pm and 8.00 pm. After a day of exploring and relaxing, enjoy a traditional Greek seafood dinner or a meze at one of the many local tavernas run by local fishermen.

Today we’ll set off early for the island of Rhodes. Breakfast will be served either during the journey or upon arrival at Anthony Quinn Bay, depending on the weather conditions. This beach is named after the actor who bought this part of the island whilst filming *The Guns of Navarone*. Afterwards, we’ll sail to Kalithea, where we’ll spend the rest of the day. Kalithea boasts beautiful coves and beaches, perfect for swimming and relaxing. Its lively atmosphere and charming surroundings make it a delightful destination for our final full day.

We arrive at the marina in Rhodes between 9.00 and 10.00 am, giving us plenty of time to explore the town. Today is a free day to visit one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the world, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We spend the night at the New Marina in Rhodes, where we enjoy an optional traditional dinner with the group for our farewell party. Afterwards, we head to the gulet to enjoy our last night together on board. Early the next morning, we set sail with a heavy heart.
