Embark on an extraordinary 5-day voyage aboard the historic Santa Maria Manuela, sailing from the fantastic Andalusian port city of Malaga to the sunny island of Mallorca.
This hands-on sailing adventure offers a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea while learning sailing techniques aboard a traditional Portuguese sailing yacht. Our journey begins in Malaga, a city rich in history and culture, nestled between the mountains and the sea. As we sail east along the Costa del Sol, you will experience the serenity of life at sea, with time to relax on deck or participate in sailing and sail handling with our experienced crew.
For five days, the Santa Maria Manuela will sail the crystal clear waters of the western Mediterranean. As we approach the Balearic Islands, the rugged coastline of Mallorca appears before our eyes, offering a stunning arrival in the historic port of Palma. Known for its impressive cathedral, lively old town and crystal clear waters, Palma is the perfect end point to this unforgettable maritime experience.
Whether you choose to immerse yourself in the daily rhythm of sailing or simply enjoy the sights and sea breeze, this trip is a unique and memorable way to travel between two iconic Mediterranean destinations.
March in the western Mediterranean is usually mild, with daytime temperatures between 15-20°C and cooler nights. Sunny intervals and occasional spring showers are expected. Winds are generally favourable for sailing, especially in open waters between the coast and the Balearic Islands.
