Gulet cruise from Lisbon to Funchal

Escape to enjoy the autumn sunshine and join us on this memorable voyage aboard the Santa Maria Manuela, a four-masted schooner originally built for cod fishing almost a century ago and fully refurbished in 2022. We will sail from Lisbon to Madeira, combining a bit of maritime history with modern comfort. Our journey begins as we pass under Lisbon's 25 de Abril Bridge, a breathtaking sight, especially at sunset. From there, we will travel 521 nautical miles, offering plenty of opportunities to participate in sailing or just relax. You can take the helm, trim the sails or help sail. When you're not busy, relax with a book, play a game or enjoy the stars at night. We will stop at Porto Santo, where you can swim or take a stroll along the 9 km of beach. As we approach Funchal, you'll see the island's landscape unfold, the perfect end to a magical journey. In November, Funchal enjoys mild autumn weather. Daytime temperatures usually range between 18°C and 22°C, with pleasant sunshine and occasional showers. Evenings can be cooler, so it is advisable to bring a jacket. The sea temperature is around 20°C (68°F), which is still relatively warm for swimming when we arrive in Porto Santo. In general, Funchal in November offers mild and pleasant weather for exploring the island, but it is a good idea to bring a light jacket and be prepared for some rain.
