Short 3-night cruise from Lisbon to Portimão

Escape to enjoy the autumn sunshine and join us on this memorable voyage aboard the Santa Maria Manuela, a four-masted schooner originally built for cod fishing almost a century ago and fully refurbished in 2022. We will sail from Lisbon to the sunny coast of the Algarve, combining a bit of maritime history with modern comfort. Our journey begins as we pass under Lisbon's 25 de Abril bridge, a breathtaking sight, especially at sunset. From there we will sail south downwind along the wild coastline of the Costa Vincentina, offering plenty of opportunities to take part in the sailing or just relax. You can take the helm, trim the sails or help sail. When you're not busy, relax with a book, play a game or enjoy the stars at night. As you round Cape St. Vincent, don't be surprised to see the ocean bustling with activity. The confluence of the cold Atlantic Ocean and the warm, mineral-rich waters of the Mediterranean often attracts a variety of life, with schools of small fish being targeted by seabirds and ocean predators such as tuna and dolphins. We sail east along the Algarve coast before anchoring off Portimão to celebrate our last night at the end of the trip.
